Reed Electrical
General Wiring in Port Hadlock, WA
New circuits, added outlets, and clean wiring for shops, offices and additions.
General Wiring for Jefferson County homes
General wiring covers the everyday work that makes a home function the way you need it to: new circuits for a home office, a 240-volt line for a welder in the shop, outlets on a kitchen island, wiring for a detached garage or a heated well house.
Every job is planned around safety and code, but also around how you actually live. We'll ask what you'll plug in, where furniture goes and what you might add in five years so the wiring fits your home now and later.
The local angle
Rural properties around Quilcene, Chimacum and Marrowstone often have barns, pump houses and shops that were wired years ago by whoever was handy. We bring those feeds up to a safe, inspected standard.
Reed Electrical has served the Olympic Peninsula since 2010, and Ron Reed brings 22 years of hands-on experience to every job. We're 100% residential, so we know how to work cleanly in an occupied home and how to keep a builder's schedule on track. When the work needs a Washington State electrical permit, we pull it and schedule the inspection.

General Wiring FAQ
Can you run power to my detached shop?
Yes. We'll size the feeder for what you plan to run, coordinate trenching, and install a subpanel if it makes sense.
Is adding an outlet a big job?
Usually not. Most single-outlet additions are quick, especially when there's attic or crawlspace access.
Do I need a permit for new circuits?
Most new circuits in Washington require an electrical permit. We take care of it when it applies.
